Obituary of Margaret Elizabeth Farewell
FAREWELL HANDKE, Margaret Elizabeth – Passed away peacefully on Saturday September 27, 2025 at the age of 90. She will be dearly missed by her partner of 26 years, Hank Handke, as well as his son K. James Handke. She leaves behind her children Milinda Scott, William Senik (Mary Ann), James Senik, Elizabeth Alsawaf (Hasan), and Sonya Youngman (Michael). She is predeceased by her parents Robert and Violet Scott (nee Townsley), her brothers Robert Jr. and Russel Scott, and her husband Gordon Farewell. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
As per her wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will take place at Grace Gospel Church, 5855 Valley Way, Niagara Falls, from 2 pm until 4 pm (please contact the church at 905 354 2811 to RSVP).
