Obituary of Richard Lloyd Rasmussen

It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of Rick. He was a beloved father to Alexander and wife Priya, Julie, and a wonderful husband of 40 years for Kai. He is remembered by brothers Brian (Diane), Blair (Judy), John, David (Debbie) and Darryl (Melissa). Rick was a dedicated leader, coach, mentor, volunteer, teacher and exemplary human being in terms of service to others in every capacity. Rick is deeply loved and will be missed.

The family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 585 Carlton St on Thursday, January 11th from 1-4 and 6-8pm. A Final Tribute for Rick will be held in the Ceremony Room of the Funeral Home Friday, January 12th at 7pm. If so desired, donations made to Parkinson Canada in Rick's memory would be appreciated by his family.
