Obituary of Robert Blechinger

BLECHINGER, Robert 

Passed away peacefully on Friday September 20, 2019 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Josephine (Nee Blechner) for 67 years. Loving Father to Karen (Dan) Turner. Dear Opi to Deanna and Kelli Turner. Predeceased by his daughter Sonia. Robert learned his barber trade in Germany. Robert and Josephine immigrated to Canada in 1957. Robert was the owner of Lincoln Mall Barbershop for many years, until his retirement.

Robert’s family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines  on Thursday September 26, 2019 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Vigil Prayers will take place at 8pm at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred’s RC Church, 272 Vine Street, St. Catharines at 11am on Friday September 27, 2019. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Donations to Princess Margaret Hospital and Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
