Obituary of Margaret Scaife

SCAIFE, Margaret Passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 19th, 2013 with her loving husband of 45 years, Gerald, by her side. Beloved mom of Anna-Marie (Duane) Friesen and David (Meghann) Scaife. Cherished grammy and nana of Sarah, Joshua, Hannah, Maxwell, Nathaniel, and Oliver. Dear sister of Robert (Reinhildt) Sternberg. Margaret will also be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, and members of the Scaife and Sternberg families. Adored daughter of the late Carl and Irma Sternberg. Margaret was a woman with a magnetic and bubbly personality, who truly loved people. She was also a woman of great faith, and loved to share that faith with everyone she met. She will be greatly missed. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines, on Thursday, May 23rd, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service for Margaret will be held at Central Community Church, 240 Scott Street, on Friday, May 24th at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Gideons or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
