Obituary of William Thomas Graham

GRAHAM, William T. (Bill) Passed away peacefully while surrounded by his loving family on Monday, December 3rd, 2012 at the St. Catharines General Hospital in his 87th year. Much loved husband of Mary and an always present and devoted father to Mary Ellen Graham, Nancy Hubbard, Chris Maund( Brian), Melanie Graham and Corinne Risch (Mike). Cherished Papa and "Grandpa" to Thomas, Tim, Andrew, Anne Marie Perrault, Brad Hubbard, Laura Corcoran, David Maund, Lindsay Maund, Trevor Dalzell, Jordan Dalzell, Graham, Derek and Maile Risch. He loved to play and cuddle with his 9 great grandchildren, Connor, Lochlan, Avahleigh, Owen, Mason, Maya, Brett, Katie & Rachel. Dad had an uncanny gift of knowing when and where he was needed and that's where he would be. He loved life and enjoyed planning a never ending string of practical jokes. He leaves behind a legacy of countless memories and will be dearly missed. Even though Alzheimers took over their life, Dad was able to stay home and was lovingly cared for by Mom. Dad was a WW2 Veteran and a member of Branch 24 and 138 Legion. He enjoyed his membership at Queenston Heights Golf Course and thought it was perfectly okay to "lift and place" his ball, even on the best summer day! He was a force to reckon with on the snooker table and won many legion tournaments. Bill's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday, December 5th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Service will take place Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. in the George Darte Funeral Chapel. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations to the Children's Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
