Obituary of Gerald Burton Teed

TEED, Gerald (Gerry)- Passed away on Sunday, December 30th, 2012 at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 85.Beloved husband of Dorothy (Marj) for 62 years. Cherished father of Terri ( David) Wood, Brenda ( Alex) Koeslag, Reg ( Dale) Teed, Vicki Teed, Gary (the late Carole) Teed, and Cheryl (Wes) Olsen. Loving grandfather of Terri Lynne (Darryl), Adam, Kathryn(Jeff), Tom (Malissa), Cynthia, Paul (Robyn), Natalie ( Adam), Darryl (Elaine), Kyle, Tylene, Keith and Kimberly. Great grandfather of Emerson, Trystan, Kiera and Tyrus. He is survived by his sister Margaret (Romeo) and his brothers Don (Connie) and Floyd (Lyla). Brother in law of the late James (Donna) Jones. Gerry is predeceased by his parents Burton Teed and Mary Winnifred Crawford, his mother and father in law Jack and Mary Jones, his sisters Hazel(Harold),Vera and his brothers Ray (Loretta) and Wayne. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and all his canine visitors. The family wish to extend a sincere thank you to Gerry's special care giver Stephen Campbell for all his care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Friday from 10a.m. -11a.m. A Celebration of Gerry's Life will take place at 11a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Memorial donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
