Obituary of Michael McDonald

Michael McDonald May 20, 1986 - January 17, 2013 It is with great sadness that we make known the passing of Michael McDonald. Mike was taken from us suddenly on January 17, 2013. He leaves behind; his adoring parents Karen and Bill McDonald, his big brother Ian (Autumn) and Mike's own special love Laura Jenkins. Missing him dearly are his grandparents Bill and Betty Baldwin and Jack and Marie McDonald. Mike also leaves aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends who will always hold him dear in their hearts and cherish all the many memories of their time together. Michael was a gift who embraced life and allowed us all to do the same. With his infectious laugh and his ability to make everyone else laugh he could brighten up any room. He was born with a twinkle in his eye and that light will always remain in our hearts. Michael was an extremely successful student, graduating with his Masters in Mathematics and Statistics and will be greatly missed by all of his work colleagues at Canadian Tire Financial Services. He was also an accomplished athlete and musician. His love of music was evident in his Thursday night open mic appearances at Squirrel Tooth Alice in Guelph. He will be missed by his many team mates and fellow musicians.
