Obituary of Donald Frederick Clement

CLEMENT, Donald Passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 17, 2012 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of 64 years of Marion. Don will be dearly missed by his children Ken (Joanne), Oscar (Sonya), Ron (Christine) and Connie (Lloyd) Riches. Adored grandpa of Lisa, Ryan, Bruce, Craig, Christina and Andrew, and four great grandchildren. Don is also survived by his sisters Joyce and Shirley. Predeceased by his brothers Claude, Harold and Doug. Don was a proud veteran, serving in WWII RCAF, and was also a prisoner of war. He was a plastering contractor, and retired from Cadbury Schweppes in St. Catharines after many years of service. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Don's life will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Tuesday, January 22 at 1p.m., with visitation taking place one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
