Obituary of Angelo Chiarelli

CHIARELLI, Angelo- Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 5th at the St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS at the age of 84. Predeceased in 2011 by his beloved wife for 63 years Annina (nee Albidone). Cherished father of Maria (Carmine) Gamba, Vincenzo (Sandra) Chiarelli, Livia (Douglas) Weber and Frank (Johanne) Chiarelli. Loving Grandpa of Joseph, Mena (Chris), Nina (Shawn), Livia, Ryan (Leslie) and Julia. Great grandfather of Carmen, Maria, Michael, Christopher, Emma and Henry. Predeceased by his parents Vincenzo and Maria Chiarelli, brother Frank Chiarelli and sister Domenica Ventura. Dad will be forever missed and remembered by all. The family extends sincere thanks to Dr. Oelofse, Dr. Delrue, Dr. Khaleifa and the staff of Mills East at the St. Catharines General Hospital for their care and compassion. Mr. Chiarelli's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, March 7th from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Catholic Church, 272 Vine Street on Friday, March 8th at 11am. Entombment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. Vigil Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Thursday at 3pm. If desired, memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
