Obituary of Carole Lynn Prystupa

PRYSTUPA, Carole (nee Corner) - Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, February 10th, 2013 at her residence at the age of 71. Beloved wife of Jimmy. Devoted mother of Kelly (Bob) Foster, Paula (Michael) Kozachenko and Karen Anne Sawicki. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Katie, Mitchell, James (Denise), Alexandria, Gregory, Valerie and her great grandson Michael Foster. Dear sister of Anne (Karl) Pettay, Geraldine La Forme, Lloyd (Marlene) Corner and Michael (Darlene) Corner. Dear sister in law of John (Linda) Prystupa and Mike Antoniuk. Carole is predeceased by her sister in law Millie Antoniuk. Special friend of Karen Glavin and Pauline Kent. Carole worked at the Boot Shop for 32 years. She had a passion for gardening and golfing and was a member of the St. Catharines Golf Club for many years. The family wish to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Anventi, Dr. Suk and Dr. Hutchison and to her special nurses and PSW's for all their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. As per Carole's wishes there will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Rankin Cancer Run or to St. John Ukrainian Church would be appreciated by the family.
