Obituary of Ida Freda Jaques

JAQUES, Ida Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Linhaven Home for the Aged in her 84th year. Predeceased by her husband Cecil (2009). Loving mother of Edgar (Lynne), Lawrence (Marylou) and Arlene (David). Cherished grandma of Scott, Gavin, David, Andrew and Brett. Oma to Meaghan, Braiden, Ethan and Hailey. Special aunt to Hannah and Mathew. Godmother to Darren and Lori. Ida will also be missed by her siblings Bill, Art, Emily, Elaine, and their families. Predeceased by her brother George. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. Family and friends will be received on Monday, March 18th from 9:30-11 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 213 Linwell Road. A celebration of Ida's life will be held at 11 a.m. in the church with interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Society or the Grace Lutheran Church Building fund would be appreciated.
