Obituary of Walter Sitko

SITKO WALTER Passed away peacefully at Niagara Gardens Retirement Home, on Monday March 11th, 2013, at 88 years of age. Predeceased by his beloved wife Vera (1991). Loving father of Stan (Katharina) and Joseph (Tilley). Cherished grandpa of Erika, Andrew, Stephanie, Jacob and Laura. Walter will be lovingly remembered by family in Europe. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. on Friday, March 15th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 3:30 pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, March 16th at 10 am. at the Cathedral of St Catherine of Alexandria Rite of committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
