MILLER, Minnie
Passed away on Tuesday, April 16th, at Heritage Place, Virgil, in her 100th year. Loving wife of the late Philip (1984). Dear mother of Mrs. Edna (the late Pat) McCool of St. Catharines, Mrs. Lillian (David) Cunningham of Scarborough, Louise (Russ) Townsend of Grimsby, Irene (Michael) Boyle of St. Catharines and Eunice (Jim) Douglas of St. Catharines. Fondly remembered by her four grandchildren, Mark Cunningham, Laura (Mike) Moher, Melanie (Kyle) Haslam and Trevor (Jennifer) Douglas. Cherished great-grandmother of Samantha, Shannon, Brady and Darci. Predeceased by her five older sisters, Mary, Helen, Caroline, Katie and Dora. Minnie was a longtime member of Christ Lutheran Church, and spent her life devoted to her family. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Pleasant Manor and Heritage Place for their kindness and support over the years. Arrangements are entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 19th at 11 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 140 Russell Avenue, with visitation taking place from 10-11 a.m. at the church. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to the Lutheran Concordia Seminary or to Pleasant Manor/Heritage Place would be appreciated by the family.
