Obituary of Esterina Mattucci

MATTUCCI, Esterina Passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Sunday, May 26th at her home at the age of 93. Predeceased by her husband Giovanni (1991), brothers Enrico and Gabriele and sister Linda. Cherished mother of Antonietta (Carmine) Mattucci, Tony (Lucy) Mattucci, and Maria (Alfredo) Turavani. Much loved Nonna of Massimo (Tracey), Rina (Elio), Vicky (Edward), Marco (Tanya), David (Jennifer), Gianluca and Alessia. Loving Great Nonna of 7. She will be missed by her sister Santarella in Italy. Esterina was a very dedicated member of St. Alfred's Parish. She was a very spiritual and kind person who gave a lot of herself to her family and friends. Mrs. Mattucci's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Tuesday, May 28th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 29th at St. Alfred's Catholic Church, 272 Vine Street at 9:30am. Entombment will follow in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Tuesday at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
