Obituary of Norman Wood

WOOD, Dr. James Norman- It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. J. Norman Wood in his 88th year, after a brief battle with cancer at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Devoted husband of 61 years to Marion. Loving father to Stephanie, Christopher (Jo-Ann), and Brian. Adoring grandfather to Jessica, Matthew, Jason, Taylor, Ashley, and Kyle. Dedicated practitioner and well-loved Obstetrician and Gynecologist within the community. The family extends a sincere thank you to all the nursing staff at the St Catharines Hospital for all their care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Norman's Life will take place at St. George's Anglican Church, 83 Church St. on Wednesday, May 29th at 10:30a.m. Memorial donations to the St. Catharines General Hospital or to St. George’s Anglican Church would be appreciated by the family.
