Wish I had said Hi
I knew Terry since 1978 and remember Terry winning the mystery goalie shootout in the Kiwanis Hockey League where Bobby Orr was the mystery goalie . The picture was still up at bill Burgoyne arena. I saw Terry at this Easter egg Hunt and wanted to say hi to him after all these years. Now I really wish I had- May you be with our Lord Jesus Christ till we will all meet again with no more pain and suffering this world bring`s us. Miss you Terry, Reggie Jessome !!

I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Terry all through Parnall and Lakeport. I saw Terry at the Easter egg hunt at Jaycee park just recently and so wanted to go over and say "hi". He had his child with him. He hadn`t changed since high school and was looking forward to seeing him at the reunion next year at Lakeport. I have yearbooks to look back on but am very shocked at this news. Terry was an amazing person and will be very much missed. I heard about the tragic passing and the service while I was away out of the country - as I was actually spreading my uncle's ashes who recently passed away in a place which meant a lot to him and would of been at Terry's service in a heartbeat if I was able. Even though over the years we have lost contact - I did manage to run into Terry a couple years ago at the Grape and Wine festival which was a lot of fun reminicing about the past. Now sitting down and reflecting on the past and the many, many memories we had as kids growing up in St. Catharines it really puts things in life into perspective, as we all sometime or another forget what's really important and what really matters as we get older. Way to tragic, way to sad, way to young, my thoughts go out to all the family - R.I.P. Terry you were a great guy.

Dearest Denise,
There are no words to express how I am grieving for you and for your loss. You were my 'favorite' customer contact and we went through a lot over the years at Hillebrand & Peller, didn't we? My cousin Mark died in the same manner (also in his 30s); so I know firsthand the devastation it wrought, both to his immediate and extended family.
I had just returned from a 10-day mission trip to Guatemala on Wednesday and found out about Terry late on Thursday afternoon from Kerrie. I hope and trust that you are OK with her telling me. I also didn't know that you had adopted Joshua. My mother's heart is breaking for you & the rest of Terry's family. I pray that God will wrap his loving arms around all of you and that you will feel his comfort and strength.

Thankyou everyone for all your love and support given to myself and our wonderful family. I feel privileged to have met Terry and will miss his unique style. In the short time I knew Terry, he earned my deepest respect as a leader - finding the positive in every situation, friend - creating laughter in his self depreciative manner and his ever present gentleman's behaviour. In a poor personal moment at work Terry would show up unruffled with his ever polished GQ look, the perfectly coiffed hair, big smile and disarming optimism and you knew you had to prove him right...

Summers at the Optimist
Growing up playing softball at the Optimist, I lost count how many times Terry and I dueled on the mound. Terry probably struck me out way more than I did to him. No matter how heated the game got - afterwards Terry was all smiles and joking around. I remember a summer vacation at Buckhorn Lake and Terry and his parents were staying at a cottage across the road. We spent most of the week fishing and just hanging out. Terry had a new fishing rod, and as we were fishing off the dam, he forget to put together the rod properly and with the first cast of the shiny new rod - the top half of the rod went sailing into the rushing waters... all we could do was laugh. Last year, I bumped into Terry at a concert at Coppola's - and it was like touching base with a long lost friend. All smiles and great memories. Deepest sympathies to the family - and may you rest in peace Terry.

High School Friend
In my last year of high school I transferred to Lakeport. My first class was English, and Terry was in it. Terry was one of the first friends I had made at my new school. He came up and introduced himself with a friendly welcoming hello. He helped me find my my way on to my next class, and he was the one who introduced me to many new friends. I will never forget that. A Great Friend.
Terry I'm so sad to hear of your passing. I will never forget all the great times we have shared over the years. Every time we got together, whether it was just hanging out at one of our houses or going out for a night on the town it was always filled with laughter. I remember your old white car you had and when you put the big stereo system in it and I told you I was going to get a bigger and loud stereo so you bought more speakers to beat me. Or your Bose surround system you wanted to buy for your home and there was a model better than the one you wanted so I said I was going to get it but you bought it before I could to have the better one LOL. We could go weeks sometimes months without seeing each other and when we would finally get together it was like we never missed a day. There are so many great memories I will cherish of our time together. It was an honor and a great pleasure to be friends with you Terry. You will be greatly missed by myself and many others.
