Obituary of Teresa Machel

Machel, Teresa - Peacefully on Saturday May 4, 2013 at home at the age of 52 with her beloved family by her side after having cancer for over 5 years. Loving wife to Waclaw for 34 years. Best mom to Radek (Sarah) and Karolina (Todd) Larmet. Cherished and devoted Babcia to Sienna. Survived by her brothers Kris (Goska), Erik, her cousin Marisa (Waldek) and many family members and close friends. She will be missed sadly by her dog Koko. Teresa enjoyed her time with family, and love of cooking and shopping. Family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street on Wednesday between 4-8pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 5 Oblate Street, on Thursday at 10am with burial to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Wellspring Niagara or Juravinski Cancer Centre where Teresa received support from her fight with cancer.
