Obituary of Brian Dunn
DUNN, Brian - Passed away peacefully at the age of 78 with his loving family by his side on Monday, August 2nd, 2010 at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Brian lived life to the fullest since immigrating to Canada in 1960. He often enjoyed a round of golf with friends, watching a match with his mates at the Celtic Club and was a long time member of The Scottish Club of St. Catharines. Brian will be truely missed by Margaret (nee Shaw), his wife of 53 years and his daughter Marie (Dave) Bowman. Loving brother in law of Sadie (John) McWhirter, Isaac (Ann) Shaw and David Shaw. Cherished uncle of Elaine (John) and their children Katharine and Madelene. Special friend of Mary Murray. Beloved brother of Maureen and Gretta of Scotland. The family wishes to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Gruber and the nursing staff of Four Mills for all their care and compassion. A special thank you to family physician Dr. Peter Hyatt. Mr. Dunn is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines. The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 7-9p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at St. Alfred's Church on Friday at 11a.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
