Obituary of Anne Kirkpatrick
KIRKPATRICK, Anne-
Peacefully on Friday, August 13th, 2010 at Linhaven Home for the Aged at the age of 95.
Predeceased by her loving husband Vince (1981), her precious son Brian (1999), her one brother and 5 sisters. Survived by her loving daughters Terry (Dave Jane) Cooper and Nancy (Jim) Parton. Much loved grandmother to Stacey (Bruce) Flagg, Colleen (Paul) Marquand, Michelle (Shane) Armstrong and Jennifer Bullock, and devoted great grandmother to Dylan, Cooper, Olivia and Ashlyn. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews, numerous good friends, and well remembered retirees from Linhaven.
Anne had a special friendship with her nephew, Msgr. Wayne Kirkpatrick, whose frequent visits and family reminiscences they shared.
Anne's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Tuesday, August 17th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Julia Catholic Church, 251 Glenridge Avenue on Wednesday, August 18th at 11am. In accordance with her wishes, cremation will follow the service. Vigil prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Tuesday at 3pm.
If desired, memorial donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
