To The Evans Family, You have been with us in our childhood years in Old Glenridge and now today in our Mother's elder years at Southgate. Dr. Evans was called upon many times when the Miller children had a cough or cold - house calls to 6 Rockcliffe Road were a walk away! Throughout his life, I observed a person who was a wonderful family man, a friend to all in his community and neighbourhood, and one of of strong faith.
At my mother's 90th, I recall telling the story when, as a youngster, I thought I would take up a neighbourhood collection in order to purchase a gift for my parent's anniversary (the thought was correct, but the methodology was not). Dr Evans donated a dollar - significant in the 60's. It was only in seeing him in the gathering at my Mom's birthday some 40 years later that I publicly acknowledged his donation and returned the dollar to him! i will cherish the exchange we had that afternoon -coming full circle from my childhood to having the opportunity to once again share in his wit, his laughter, and his presence! My deepest sympathies to the entire Evans family. As our Dad continues to care for us from Heaven, Dr. Evans will now care for each of you from his chair near my father's. Greg Miller (and family).
P.S. I was out west on business at the time of the funeral, however, my thoughts and prayers were with all of you.

On behalf of the O'Neill family I wish to send my thoughts and condolences. My father Eric was a great friend and colleague of Danny and he was my mother Madge's doctor and delivered my youngest brother Peter. He was also my confirmation sponsor many years ago. I know that Danny Evans was loved and respected by our family and I am saddened to learn of his passing. He lived a full and generous life and will be missed by all who knew him.

Betty, Ann, Mary Ellen, Mark, Janet and extended families, I was so saddened to hear of Danny's passing. He loved his life and his family very much not wanting to give up. He was a courageous man who fought the battle to the very end. Even though I only met Danny on a couple of occasions, I knew he was a very special person. I will always remember the kidding around between us regarding the vacuuming we did together, and what a great team we made getting ready for John and Janet's wedding.
Please accept my deepest condolences, my love and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time.
Love
Judy

Dear Betty and Family of Danny,
I was saddened to hear in the email from my son Gregory of the death of Danny. I always figured that he would live forever. He was such a warm, kind, gentle man as well as a gentleman. Danny always had such a welcoming smile and that is one thing that I can always remember about him among other wonderful attributes.
I am away doing a volunteer job and will not return until Monday afternoon. I am so very sorry that I could not have been there with you for Danny's funeral. Please know that all of you are in my prayers as our families go back a long way!
Warmest regards,
George

I want to express my deepest sympathy to a wonderful family. Dr. Evans was THE BEST physician and the greatest man that I will ever look up to. No one will ever measure up to his kindness, compassion, and understanding to his patients. Both my Mother, Mrs. Lena Kasmerski and myself will ever be so grateful for having had him in our life as a family physician. MAY HE REST IN PEACE!

I am sorry for the loss of your husband and father. I remember Dr Evans as a top notch physician & I remember the family fondly from childhood. I saw Dr Evans briefly last year when I was down from Nova Scotia to visit Mom. She is certainly blessed to have old dear friends in the same building. God bless all of you in the days ahead. My heart is with you. Fondly Sheila (Miller) Chaffecombe

We were so saddened to hear of the loss of Dr. Even's. I will always treasure memories of our many Evens/Reynolds visits. All the times we would laugh until our bellies hurt, sing Christmas carols around the piano...getting together year after year! Know that our prayers are we you all and a Holy Mass will be said at St. Luke's here in Dahlonega, Georgia.
ps....He was the best Godfather anyone could ask for!
