Obituary of Joseph Angelo Kendig
KENDIG, Joseph (nee Brocato)- Joseph Angelo passed away peacefully on October 8,2009. He leaves behind the mother of his two children Dalida Kendig, his sons Michael Angelo and Matthew John, his mother Mrs. Elizabeth Ellis (Stalter), his father Joseph John Kendig, his brother Robert Kendig & Pamela. Also his sisters-in-laws & brothers-in-laws Diane and Dennis Portt, Carolle and Brad Barton, Francine and Warren Merry, Marcella and Denis Lefebvre. He also leaves his god daugthers Ashley Barton, Lauren Merry and Alexandria Kendig. Also nieces and nephews Melissa, Courtney, Ashley, Billy, Miranda, Eric, Tanya and Natalie. He was a member of the Southridge Church. Joe volunteered and was very involved in his boys sports with soccer and basketball. He was a coach for house league and travel teams, convener and vice-chair for the MAA Soccer, he coached the Pelham Panthers and CYO basketball teams. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL. (905)-937-4444. A service in Joe's memory will be held at Southridge Church on Glenridge Avenue at 11 am on Thursday October 15th. In lieu of flowers, the family will be setting up a trust account and donations can be made at any Meridian Credit Union branch as well as the George Darte Funeral Home.
