Obituary of Natale Bennici

Bennici, Natale (Chris): After his courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday October 18, 2009, at the St. Catharines General Hospital in his 55th year.Cherished, proud and loving father of Jessica Bennici (Matt), and Jesse Bennici. Beloved brother of Providenza (the late Giuseppe) Crisanti, Calogero (Angela) Bennici, and Vito (Jeanie) Bennici. Beloved uncle of Joya (Nico), Juliana (Kevin), Rosie (Gabe), Mary, Tony, Gianni (Serena), Enza (Paolo), Vincenzo, Marco, and great-nieces and nephews Ella, Sophie, Jonathan, Joey, Matthew, Elenia, Andrea and Andrea-Giulia. Chris will always be remembered and loved by Cheryl Hulick, Wayne, Bill, Chris Taylor and will be fondly missed by all who knew him. Living his dream, and fulfilling his passion he was the proud owner of Genesis Hair Design, and his clientel loved him so much. His way of giving back was his recent volunteer work at Hospice Niagara even though he was fighting cancer himself. An avid sports fan and a great pool player, his favorite teams were the New York Yankees, and the Dallas Cowboys. Not a day went by where Chris couldn't put a smile on someone's face with one of his jokes. He will be missed by Stella and Tucker, his four-legged friends and especially all his treats. More than anything else, his children Jessica and Jesse were his pride and joy, and they are proud to have had him as a Dad. Chris is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St. St. Catharines. Visiting hours are Wednesday October 21, 2009 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel at the funeral home on Thursday October 22, 2009, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial remembrances could be made in trust for his children.
