Dear Nino,Cornelia,Mirella,Val,Remo, our deepest sympathy on the passing of Cathy, she was a very sweet, loving & caring. She treated us all like we were one of her own.I remember as a young teen hanging out in the back yard "paradise",I use to marvel at the fact that she spoke Italian with a Scottish accent, how cool was that! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and may the good Lord always walk in your footsteps.Cindy & Reno

Cathy Pengue - a loving, fun, strong, witty, and incredible woman who will be missed incredibly. Of my countless memories, my favourite is Cathy, Mirella and me lounging by the hotel pool in Arizona, chatting, reading, laughing and having an amazing girlie time. How lucky we all were to have had Cathy in our lives. Love from us all. xoxoxox

Cathy or Mrs. Pengue we called you. You were the funniest lady to be around,I still can remember building the pool and the way you made it more enjoyable. Girls you had a great mother keep your chins held high she was the best.

One of my warmest memories of the many acts of kindness Cathy has shown me was at Christmas time many years ago. This particular Christmas my parents had gone to Italy for my Grandparents 50th Wedding Anniversary. Val and Connie had only been together a short time but Cathy welcomed us into her home as though she†™d known us a lifetime. My sisters and I spent a wonderful evening in her home trimming the tree and sharing hot chocolate and cookies and Cathy made sure that there was a gift under the tree for each of us. Through the years she continued to share her family, home and kindness and later welcomed my husband and children. I still remember that evening long ago as I put on those pretty warm PJ†™s I felt so special. I hope she knew how much I thought of her; she truly was an exceptional person. Mirella and Connie thank you for sharing your mum with Rob and I, Alex, Aliscia and Jack thanks for sharing your Amma / Gamma with Kayla, Jessica and Mac. We all share in your sorrow. We will miss her dearly.
If it ain†™t Scottish its junk!

Cathy will be so greatly missed. She could not have been the age reported in the obituary. Cathy for sure never aged beyond 29! Young at heart, young with spirit, I always admired her for her kindness, gentleness, and her respect to all. There will be a big void left, but I hope that all of your fond memories and love will fill that void. Respectfully and with saddness...Julie Marrone
