It is with incredible sadness that I am writing this to express my condolences to Gail, Mrs. Reilly and the the entire family. However, along with sadness is the comfort that it was my privilege to have known Frank, and the numerous smiles he gave all of us who were fortunate enough to have been in his class. School isn't normally a place where your cheeks hurt from smiling, but I can't honestly recall a day going by where that didn't happen. Once the tears have faded, we'll all have those memories to hold onto, and those memories will make us smile without even realizing it.

Condolence
My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this very difficult time. Frank was my law teacher at triOS College. He was a wonderful teacher and a great mentor. He taught me alot about law, but also about life. He always greeted us with a smile on his face and made us laugh with his great stories. He was not only a teacher but also a friend. He was always there to listen if you needed to talk. I remember he showed us pictures of his grandchildren and his family in class and you could tell how much he loved and cherished his family. Frank you will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Frank - A wonderful person!
I had the pleasure of working with Frank and of being his commuting buddy for several years. Driving home from Hamilton to St. Catharines five nights a week with Frank was a laugh every kilometer! I think Frank had a personal philosophy on just about everything. Frank was an exceptional instructor and colleague! His calm approach, humourous outlook and use of narrative delighted and captured the attention of all. He truly was a gifted speaker.
It was an absolute pleasure to know and work with Frank and to see the positive impact he made on the lives of his students. He will be sadly missed.

Frank was my teacher at TriOS and always made the class fun and interesting. My condolences for all the family and friends. I will always remember standing in line with him at Timmy's every morning before work, laughing at the Gore Park crazies and his sarcastic remarks. The last time I saw him was Friday morning, dressed up as Goth girl for my work Halloween party and Frank's remark was, "Damn, you look like crap" then he laughed...and the last thing I said to him was, "I love you too Frank."
You will be missed greatly Frank.

Thank you for allowing me
the opportunity
to learn from you
when I was seeking so much knowledge
when I was asking many questions
you patiently listened and answered accordingly
never showing signs of frustration
Thank you for taking the time
to show me the necessary skills today
that will lead me with confidence into tomorrow
for believing in me and having enough faith
to share your work
your dreams
and your vision
Thank you for accepting me as I am
with all my eagerness
and my sheer joy over the little things...
you never tried to squelch that spirit in me
Instead, you have encouraged that spirit
and for that, I do thank you
I realized the knowledge I need for work can be learned anywhere,
taught by most anyone
but the life skills I needed that go along with it...
well, that would have to be taught by a very unique individual
with a very special gift for giving
a gift of patience and understanding
that someone is you, my Mentor
and now, my friend
I was a student of Frank Reilly, and Frank was always entertaining, with his stories, jokes and anecdotes. You were never sure how it was going to tie up with the current topic, but it always did. It was always something that made you look at the world a whole new way.
I learned a lot from Frank.
I learned that corporate has better lunches, that women should never use their last name in the phone book when working in law, and most importantly I learned that we are never too old to learn new things.
Thank you Frank for some of the most memorable moments in law class that I have ever had.

Frank will be missed. I am truly sorry for your loss of such a great man. He was the reason I kept coming to class. To hear what he was going to say or how he was going to present a topic. I always left his class with a smile on my face from something he said.
He will be with us always.

I believe that the secret to life is not within every super size it , special discount, markdown item,
it is within every single persons own smile., that special bone that thinks it is so funny!.
That genuine emotion in a rare and energetic raw form and no matter what degree of chaos that my life had going through it, each and every day I knew that Mr. Reilly would make me turn that frown upside down, and he did . It was a given to catch at least half sometimes more, sometimes less of the class gathered around like little kids by a camp fire and all of us with are eyes bugged wide open , sometimes are jaw is just hanging there feeling like are tongue is half way to the floor , and there we were a bunch of young adults and not an †œelderly† person was around, we were all nothing but big kids listening to the
life of one of our own, to one of our family members, to the man, the only man that may it easy for me to learn because he made it comfortable to just be. Frank Reilly has had the biggest impact on my life, without him even truly understanding what he has done for me and soooo many others.

Sincerest condolences especially to Gail and Eva. Frank was always there to lend an ear, a helping hand, and will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Sitting in my seat, I do not want to leave,
I arrive to class, with a sigh of relief,
The teacher I look forward to, a teacher I am glad to meet,
But on the day in question, today being that day,
I must say it†™s hard, it†™s so very hard to portray.
To continue pass this day, knowing that Mr. Reilly is gone away.
Tomorrow is a day I don†™t think I can convey
I searched my entire life looking for a teacher like him,
To begin to understand me, and never try to judge me
He was always there to be my guiding light when I couldn†™t find one.
I moved to Hamilton with nowhere to live, and no idea what will be to come of my life
But what I do know is that I always looked forward to the school, because
I only wanted to see the man that was molding my life, giving me purpose, a reason to move forward.
That man is Mr. Frank Reilly, who will forever leave his mark on my life. And the lives of so many more.
He will never be forgotten, or embraced.
Frank always said that Latin was a dying language so I will try to depict this next part in English with some Latin … for Mr. Reilly
Data venia I give to you Mr. Frank Reilly, he is a Cygnus Inter Anates , A Custos Morum , he had gained a vast amount of knowledge though your Curriculum Vitae and wanted nothing more but to inspire the minds De Futuro with the knowledge of the past, of this experiences. He loved what he did, and I like many others thrived on his inspiration. In definition he was De Mortuis Nil Nisi Bonum and he was not Hostis Humani Generis.
De Lege Lata to De Lege Ferenda, Mr. Reilly was there, and he took what he knew with Dolus Specialis a Simplex Dictum that was Exempli Gratia through his teachings, that gave us all a way to understand the years of experience and knowledge that he had. He is truly a soul that can never be replaced. So I now question what is to come De Futuro.?
Ab Initio Ad Finem of the time that I knew Mr. Frank Reilly it was as if Vis Major had brought me to him. Me being lost in a world of confusion, he gave me purpose, a reason to move on. I left my entire life behined when I moved to Hamilton and it did not matter whether I was living on the streets or bouncing from home to home, the thought of franks class was my light in my life where there was known. I was only Unus Multorum who looked at Mr. Reilly as a piece of the law that has been written in stone for the ages to come, a library of knowledge for us to learn from his vast intellect. Ex libris of his mind he let us read I don†™t think I could give my Fiducia or Fides in the mind or anyone else.
Uno Flatu Intra Vires he held, Factum of Dolus Specialis gave his students Uberrima Fidei to Respondeat Superior. As to question are parents as an adolecent we would question Mr. Reilly are Guardian Ad Litem
Mr. Reilly is now In Vitro Inter Alia Intra In Situ
Quo Warranto was Mr. Reilly taken from us?

My sincere condolence to all the family. Frank Riley he was unique, superb teacher, funny and one of a million. I have learned from Frank, life is precious and is to short to be angry, selfish, or sad, life for my teacher frank was, happiness, togetherness with his family and grandkids, and to joke about every little thing he can think of. My teacher was a gentle man and the best teacher you could ever had. Frank I would miss you, and I know you are just laughing at me, saying what the heck are you doing, you import export girl.

May the arms of baby Jesus surround you and guide you to a place of peace and understanding during the loss of someone taken too soon.

I was a student in Frank's class. We just took our exam for civil litigation this past Friday. I am so very glad that I had the opportunity to cross paths with Frank in this life. I will forever, be thankful and keep his memory in my heart for the rest of my life. He was truly a great man and very wise. I laughed at all of his jokes and listened to all of his stories (because every one of them taught me something). Frank loved Gayle and talked about her, their daughter and his grandkids all the time. He is our angel and I know know that he will be there always for everyone he loved. Thank you soooo much, Frank, for touching my life.
