Obituary of Paul John McKinnon
McKINNON, Paul John -It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Paul on Thursday, November 5th, 2009 at Douglas Memorial Hospital in Fort Erie at the age of 71.Beloved husband of Laura. Cherished father of Terry (Nancy) McKinnon, Tammy (Fred) Moscovici and Tracy ( Joseph) Zaroda. Loving grandfather of Kayla, Alexa, Nicholas, Reid, Camille and Celine. Brother of Colin McKinnon, Norma (Jack) Shaw, Geri (Neil) Coles and Elda McKinnon. Brother in law of Albert DiMaurizio, Rochelle and Harold Smith and Shirley McKinnon. Paul is predeceased by his sister Joyce DiMaurizio. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Paul was a dedicated employee of Bell Canada for 35 years. After his retirement from Bell Canada, he started a new chapter in his work life where he spent 20 years at Super Putt in Niagara Falls. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street St Catharines, on Sunday from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. A Memorial Service will take place on Monday at 10a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations to Walker Family Cancer Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
