Obituary of Ksenia Kowalenko
KOWALENKO, Ksenia-Passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully at her residence on December 18th. Ksenia will be missed by her great nephew Dariusz (Magda) Turczyn of the United Kingdom. Ksenia was a member of St. John Ukrainian Catholic Church, was actively involved in the fundraising activities at the church, and will be sadly missed by the ladies in "St. John's Kitchen". Mrs. Kowalenko is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines. Visiting hours are Tuesday, December 22nd from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated at St. John Ukrainian Catholic Church, 91 Lakeshore Road, St. Catharines on Wednesday, December 23rd at 10:30am. Rite of Committal to follow in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Panachyda will be recited in the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:30pm. If desired, memorial donations to St. John Ukrainian Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
