Unexpectedly on Wednesday, December 30th at Albright Manor in her 91st year. Predeceased by her loving husband Lukasz (2006).
Loving mother of Anastasia Redeker, Sally (Howard) Thompson, Natalie Yamniuk, Mary Smith, Lorraine (Jan) Mook. Cherished grandmother (Baba) of Brian, Terry, Irwin, Michaella, Cory, Kim, Kerri, Jarrett, Darren and Daniel. Great grandma of Brandi, Melanie, Lucas, Tara, Douglas, Finleigh and Paul. Predeceased by her two sons Russell and Bohdan, sons in law Fred Redeker and David Smith, and one brother. Julia will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends in both Canada and Ukraine.
Julia's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. on Monday, January 4th from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Divine Liturgy will be celebrated in Sts. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Catholic Church, 14 Rolls Avenue on Tuesday, January 5th at 10:30am. Rite of committal in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Panachyda will be held in the funeral home on Monday, January 4th at 7pm. If desired, memorial donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
