Obituary of Douglas Simpson

SIMPSON DOUGLAS Passed away at his residence on Tuesday February 16, 2010 in his 88th year. Survived by his brother of Dr. L.B. Simpson and wife Jane of Toronto, sister in law Mrs. Agnes Simpson of Ottawa, neices Anne of Sydney Austrailia, Carol of Mississauga, Rene of Chicago, and nephew Keith of Halifax. Predeceased by his brother Gordon of Ottawa. Douglas was a graduate in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Brunswick, served a short time in the Canadain Army shortly after graduating and spent most his professional career with Ontario Hydro. Douglas was also a long time member of the St Catharines Tennis Club. At Douglas' request cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. St Catharines.
