Obituary of Jim Vallentin

Vallentin James, John. It is with sadness the family of Jim Vallentin announce his sudden passing on Saturday, February 27, 2010 at the age of 58. Beloved son of Ann Vallentin of Kitchener and the late Adolph Vallentin (2005). Proud father of Kevin James & Stephanie Lynn of St. Catharines and Gregory Stuart of Whistler BC. Fondly remembered by the children†™s mother Trudy Vallentin. Cherished brother of Mary Roth of Kitchener, and Anna Flynn and her husband Bryce of Woburn MA. Uncle to Mary†™s son Aaron of Toronto. Jim is survived by an extended family in Ontario, the Netherlands and New Zealand. An avid fisherman and cyclist, Jim was employed by Vineland Manufacturing, retiring in June, 2009. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held in the chapel of the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines, Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 12 pm If desired, memorial contributions to The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
