Obituary of Ralph Anthony Persia

PERSIA, Ralph Passed away unexpectedly at the Welland Hospital Site on Wednesday, November 5th at the age of 71. Cherished husband of Eva and much loved father of Rosalie (Mike) Young, Ralph Jr. (Jaynee), and Teresa (Ron) DiMaria. Devoted grandfather of Michael and Mikayla Young, Anthony Persia and Emma and Abby DiMaria. Survived by his brothers Fred (Lisa) Persia and Guido (Marissa) of Italy, his sisters Barbara Sacco (Lenny Gualtieri) and Anna (Alfino) Spadafora, his sister in law Mary Beckerley and his brothers in law Armand (Pauline) Rizzuto, Joe Lomano and Vittorio Petrello. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his sisters Amelia Dosa, Carmella Petrella , Sesta Persia and his sister in law Emma Lomano. Ralph's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street on Friday, November 7th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Roman Catholic Church, 272 Vine Street on Saturday, November 8th at 11 am. Entombment to follow in Fairview Mausoleum, Niagara Falls. Vigil Prayers for Mr. Persia will be celebrated in the funeral home on Friday, November 7th at 3pm. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
