Obituary of Domenico Milano
Milano, Domenico- Peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Saturday, November 22, 2008 in his 68th year. Predeceased by his parents Giuseppe and Angela Milano of Italy. Devoted and beloved brother of the late Filomena and the late Matteo Giacomino, Michele (Maria) Milano, Teresa Basile and Antonio Milano. Uncle to Antoinette (Tony) Bozza, Rocco (Anna) Giacomino, Angela (John) Miele, Joe (Luc) Milano, Rob Basile, Joe (Michelle) Basile and Faustino (Frank) Basile. Predeceased by his brother-in-law Antonio Basile and sister-in-law Francesca Milano. Domenico will be forever treasured by his niece Antoinette (Tony) Bozza and his nephew Rocco (Anna) Giacomino who considered him a brother. Domenico was a gentle person that selflessly assisted those dear to him. We will forever cherish both the wonderful moments we experienced with him and his sense of humour. A special thank you to Frank Basile for his care and companionship. Domenico is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St.. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 23, 2008 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.. A Funeral Liturgy will take place at St. Alfred's Catholic Church, 272 Vine St. on Monday, November 24, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil prayers will be recited on Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m. Memorial donations may be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society.
