Obituary of Michael Retzik

RETZIK, Michael Only hours after the loss of his beloved wife Josephine, Michael passed away peacefully in his 95th year, on Friday, November 28th at the Linhaven Home for the Aged. Loving husband of the late Josephine for 69 years and devoted father of Donald (Gloria), Michael (Bonnie). Cherished grandfather of David, Kathy, Kyle, Tim and Graham, and loving great grandfather of Cimmaron and Darius. Also survived by sister in law Dorothy Stacinski, sister Kay Fedori, brother Nick Hrycyk and many nieces and nephews. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Mike's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Friday, December 5th from 7-9pm. A memorial service to celebrate his life will take place in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, December 6th at 11am. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the Linhaven staff who provided comfort and care to Mike in such a meaningful way. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Linhaven Home for the Aged would be appreciated by the family.
