Obituary of Raffaela Carluccio

CARLUCCIO, RAFFAELA (nee Rosamilia)- Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family, on Monday, December 1, 2008, in her 78th year. Raffaela is survived by Antonio, her beloved husband of 57 years. Loving mother of Anita (Ed) Curran, Lily (Stephen) Korte, Angie Jackson, Dina Carluccio and Rosanna (Simon) Pols. Cherished grandma of Erin (Rocky), Adrienne (Michael), Nadine (Jonathan), Stephanie (Keith), Katrina, Whitney (Korey), Taylor, Nicholas and Jordan. Great grandmother of Cooper and Jillian. A special thanks to Jan Pullar for her compassionate care and commitment. Raffaela is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 595 Carlton St. until Thursday at 9 a.m. A Funeral Liturgy celebrating Raffaela's life will be held at St. Alfred's Roman Catholic Church, 272 Vine St., on Thursday, December 4th, 2008, at 9:30 a.m.. Entombment to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Fonthill. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2008 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.. Vigil prayers will be recited Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m.. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
