Obituary of Ewald Martin Duefford

Dueffort, Ewald Martin Passed away peacefully, at his home, on Saturday, December 13, 2008. Loving husband of Inge. Dear father of Michaela and her husband Bill Williamson. Proud and devoted Opa of Katie, Kyle, and Phillip. Survived by his brother Horst Schaloske, his sister Irmgard Heller and their families all of Germany. Ewald was employed with General Motors as a tool and die maker, retiring in 1994. He was a long time member of Club Heidelberg, the Niagara Regional Sportsman's Gun Club and the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters. Mr. Dueffort is resting at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St. until Wednesday when a service to celebrate his life,will be held in the chapel at 11 am . Interment will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Memorial remembrances to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Hemo Dialysis Unit, Ontario St. site of the NHS would be appreciated by family. The family wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to De. Bayley, Dr Soliman, Dr. Raimondo and the nursing staff of the Hemo Dialysis Unit for their compassionate care.
