Obituary of Olga Fundytus
FUNDYTUS, Olga (nee Wynneck)- Peacefully passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2008 at the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital in St. Catharines, with her loving family at her side, in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Michael Fundytus (1998) and dear Mother of Cheryl (David) Prosyk of St. Catharines, Patricia (John) McMillan of Kanata and Michael (Peggy) of Fonthill. Fondly held in the hearts of her Grandchildren Jason (Pauline), Michael (Meghan), Shannon, Heather (Patrick), Kate (Rob), Adam, Andrew and Great Grandmother of Ashley, Brandon and Courtney. Olga worked at Thompson Products and at various grocery stores, but mainly Food City for 23 years, but is best remembered as a dedicated and loving Mother with a huge heart, who always cared more for others than for herself. A special thank you to the staff of 2 West at the Shaver Hospital for their excellent care. In accordance with Olga's wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating Olga's life will be held in the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton, on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 1 p.m.. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation or the Arthritis Society.
