Obituary of Brien Edward Ashdown
ASHDOWN, Brien Edward, C.M.A.
Beloved son of Don and Anne Ashdown, died suddenly at his home on Monday, December 29, 2008, in his 46th year. Brien is survived by his two sisters Robin Ashdown and Karen (Graeme) Tiels. Beloved uncle to Hannah and Samantha. Brien will be fondly remembered by his Aunt Charlotte and Uncle Gordon Norton, his cousins Cathy (Tim) Hann, Chris (Noelle) Norton and Paul Norton. Brien was an enthusiastic Rotarian in Burlington and he was a recipient of the Paul Harris Fellowship Award. In accordance with Brien's wishes cremation has taken place. Brien's family will receive family and friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Saturday, January 3, 2009, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.. A celebration of Brien's life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Sunday, January 4, at 11:00 a.m.. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Rotary Club of Burlington, in care of the Holiday Inn, 3063 South Service Rd., Burlington, ON, L7N 3E9.
