CONTINI, Giovanna - Passed away on January 5, 2009 at Versa Care at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Gavino (1988). Loving mother of Joseph, Lila (George) Mariano, Gino (Debbie) and John. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Thursday January 8, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Vigil prayers will be held in the funeral home at 3 p.m. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church on Friday January 9, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
