Obituary of Mary Chichakian
EARTH ANGEL.....In a silhouessent halo on the 2nd of August...1992, a raspberry rhapsody found the old city listening to the lightning striking. On one's eyes realized all the rukus, thunder and roar was applauding the arrival of an exceptionally brilliant Earth Angel sliding over the rainbow. Shortly thereafter the sun took its place in her skies.
[You could tell by the golden drops of magic gleaming my Mother's eyes.] She embraced butterflies and loved their marvelous flight.
Mary found clowns mystically engaging and applauded the joy their antics invoked on a slapsticked joke.
But as the rhythm of her lifespan continued to bounce on its beat, a few clouds darkened her angel eyes.
Mary embraced her first husband Steven and infant daughter Stephanie along with my late Father Ronald, only to bid them all farewell,
their time in space passed quickly through life's
hourglass.
But my mother - the bravest soul - I'll ever know - worked her way beyond the tragedies finding solace in the joy of those clowns.
Out of the darkness clouding over her Angel eyes, my Mother generously gave all her kindness and soul all her smiles and heart,
to me, and all those who passed her way.. Mary loved the Italian shops and restaurants, she enjoyed cooking shows on t.v. being with family
friends and the Armenian Church, and always.... forever and always.. was at her happiest when spending time on the clock with me
Mom was pure poetry and joy to be with, always up for a gelatto on a summer's day and a visit to Starbucks in every way.
A dreamer who conquered the storms that came her way - living to smile on another day, an Earth Angel who made id through the
storms and who is now basking in the glow of Eternity's sun. As one moment in time in done..for Mary the Earth Angel...new moments in heaven have just begun.
Mary Chichakian... August 2nd 1922 - February 8th 2009.
