Obituary of William Bunston

BUNSTON, William ("Bun")- Passed away suddenly in the place he wanted to be, Sunny Dominican Republic, on March 12th 2009 in his 73rd year. Loving husband and friend to Linda. Cherished father to daughters Glori (husband Roger Godon),Dana (husband Dean Smith). Special grandfather of Nicholas, Justin, Tim, Carly, and Colette. Brother to Barb (husband Don Baker Sr.) and Bev Kostuk. Stepfather to the McNeaney boys, Shawn (wife Jody) ,Scott (wife Paula) and Shane (wife Holly). Grandpa Bun to grandchildren Daniel, Michael, Joel and Julia. Bun will be missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was a retired professional firefighter of the St. Catharines Fire Department. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street on Wednesday from 7-9p.m. A Celebration of Bun's Life will take place on Thursday at 11a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Memorial donations in Bun's name to the Secondary School Rowing Bursary Program would be appreciated by the family.
