Obituary of Michael Earl Storosko

STOROSKO, Michael Earl: Passed away with great courage and dignity at the Welland County General Hospital on Thursday morning, October 7th, 2010 in his 58th year. Beloved husband of Lawna (Grespan) Storosko. Dear father of Michael Storosko III, Sarah Storosko and Aimee Storosko-Brown (Tim); dear step-father of Angela DiCato (Kevin), Amy Grespan (Dan Auther), Aaron Grespan; and sweet Grandpa to Ella Auther. Son of Michael Storosko Sr., and the late Adeline Storosko (2006). Lovingly remembered by siblings, Laurie Ann Cameron and Leslie Penner (Al); nieces and nephews; Nicholas (Dreanna); Robbie (Raltsa); Lacey; Joseph, Rachel & Amanda. Michael was an active member of the Niagara Oldtimer†™s Hockey Team. He was born in St. Catharines, May 19th, 1952 and graduated from Niagara College as a Mechanical Engineer. He worked at General Electric in Hamilton, Washington Mills (NF†™s), General Motors (St. Cath), John Deere Welland Works, Frito-Lay (Cambridge), and Kraft Foods (NF†™s).Michael enjoyed coaching hockey, playing hockey, puttering in his garage and barn and traveling in his motorhome. The family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A memorial service to celebrate Michael's life will be held in the chapel on Tuesday at 11 am. Memorial donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre, Hamilton would be appreciated by the family.
