Obituary of Reta Saari

Saari, Reta (Nee: Bracken) On Thursday April 2, 2009 at the St. Catharines General Hospital in her 81year, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the Late Elmer Saari (1975). Loving mother of Michael (Gwen) and Annabelle Saari and son in law Fabio Paul. Cherished grandma of Mikey (Charlotte), Andrea, Emily, Amanda and Samantha and great grandma to Stella. She is survived by sister Dorothy Lavigne. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews, special aunt to Carol Michitsch. Predeceased by her brother Aurthur Vern Bracken and his wife Mary, brothers and sisters in law Art and Emily Saari and Jules and Anne Saari. A heartfelt thanks to the Paramed Caretakers, Chris at Medigas, the I.C.U. and Emergency Room Staff at the St. Catharines General Hospital for all their help, care and compassion. George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines have been entrusted with the arrangements for Mrs. Saari. Friends may call on Sunday April 5, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. and Monday April 6, 2009 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday April 7, 2009 in the Chapel at 11a.m. Memorial remembrances can be made to The Canadian Lung Association.
