To Jean,Victor,Lorna,and Family:
Denice and I were deeply saddened to hear of Vic's passing and we want you all to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time of loss.
Vic was a dear friend for many years and, although we didn't get to spend much time together these past years, the fond memories of many great times together, both at work and outside of work, always seemed to keep us close. As a friend,Vic was the real deal- loyal, supportive, quick with a joke and a laugh, always fun to be around. In our lifetimes, most of us can count only a very few people of Vic's calibre as friends, and i consider myself extremely fortunate to count him as one of those special individuals in my life.
This is indeed a sad time for all of us who knew and loved Vic,but the warm memories of special times with him and the positive bonds of friendship, will provide comfort in the days and weeks ahead.

To Jean, Victor, Lorna and all of the other loved ones that Vic was so proud of, I want to express my heartfelt sympathy to all of you.
I'm sure that Rod has already sent along his condolences but I had things I wanted to say as well. Vic came to be a very special part of our lives over the time we were there and we were proud to call that gentle man with the giant heart our friend. "Victoire" as I always called him made us laugh and really feel the gentle spirit of the man. He gave so much of himself always and never spared himself the extra effort to help Rod & I out but always with a cold brew + at the end (and during) and the late night feeds I had ready for them when the guys finally decided to come home were lots of fun. When we found out that he had ALS as well it broke our hearts. Rod's Mum just before her 90th birthday was diagnosed and passed away within 4 months. It is an awful disease and it was a blessing when Mum was gone. Her quality of life was non existant and it was so painful to watch that very vital articulate lady lose the very essense of her.
You would have gone through that as well and Vic's passing although a blessing will leave a very large empty place in your hearts and homes as it will in ours. Our thoughts and prayers are with you now and in the days to come. Remember the good and all the happy family times & memories. He really did bless and enrich your lives and the lives of so many others. Denice Copp

Jean, Victor, Lorna and family.
So sorry to hear the sad news of Vic's passing. I have many great memories of him. Vic was a lovely man with a great sense of humour and I always enjoyed getting together for dinner or a BBQ and a beer. He will be sorely missed.
Thinking of you all
