Obituary of Wanda Viola Champoux

CHAMPOUX, Wanda (nee Bonasheski) Peacefully and while surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, April 21st at Tufford Manor at the age of 82. Cherished wife of 57 years of Henry and beloved mother of Lynne (Rod) Gillen and Andy (Patti) Champoux. Much loved Grandma of Michael (Tammy), Ryan (Melissa), and Jamie and Great Grandma of Lucas. Also survived by her brothers in law Walter, Cleo, Jackie (Helen) and Palma (Barb), her sister in law Rose, and her many nieces, nephews and friends. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Wanda's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Friday, April 24th from 7-9pm and Saturday, April 25th from 11am-11:45am. A memorial service to celebrate her life will follow in the funeral home chapel at 12pm. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to St. Catharines General Hospital Foundation-Future Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
