Obituary of Yvonne Foisy

FOISY, Yvonne On Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at the St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS, Yvonne Foisy in her 90th year. Predeceased by her husband Victor (1951) and her brothers Raymond, Oliva and Denis, and her sister Odile. Mrs. Foisy is survived by her brother Lucien and her sisters Denise, Annette and Lucie, as well as many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Foisy was retired from General Motors and resided most recently at Niagara Arms Retirement Residence. Mrs Foisy was a longtime member of Eglise Immaculee Conception, as well as St. Alfred's Church. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a private family inurnment. Mrs. Foisy's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street on Saturday, May 2nd from 10-11:45am. The funeral liturgy outside of Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel at 12pm. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
