Obituary of Michael Somogyvari

SOMOGYVARI, Michael (Mike) - Peacefully to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Friday, May 8th, 2009 at the age of 84. Beloved and devoted husband of Katalin. Cherished and loving father of Michael (Kara), Maryanne Cappellazzo, John Joseph , Anna (Brad) Cole, and Katharine (Shaun) Baylis. Dearest nagypapa of Elysia, Tayler, Sean, Mackenzie and Sarah. A member of St. Alfred's Parish and was employed at General Motors for 35 years before retiring in 1989. Michael is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street. The family will receive visitors on Monday from 2-4p.m. and 7-9p.m. Vigil prayers will take place on Monday at 3p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Parish on Tuesday at 11:00a.m. Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations to St. Vincent de Paul Society would be appreciated by the family.
