Obituary of Ruth Elizabeth Gault

GAULT, Ruth Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 30th at Linhaven Home in her 73rd year. Devoted wife of Norval, cherished mother of David, Edwin and the late Marie (Wayne) Mewhiney and much loved grandma of Lindsay Mewhiney. Also survived by her sisters Vera (Doug) Pletsch, Wilma (Dave) Churchill, Irma (George) Watford and Helen (Paul) Willis, and her brother Ray (Barb) McNally. She will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Ruth was a dedicated R.N. at the St. Catharines General Hospital where she retired in 1984 after 30 years of nursing. She was the former President of the Schizophrenia Society- St. Catharines Chapter and very involved in Bethany Community Church. Mrs. Gault's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Friday, July 3rd from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Visitors will also be received on Saturday, July 4th at Bethany Community Church, 1388 Third Street Louth, St. Catharines from 9am until the time of the funeral service at 10am. Burial to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Fonthill. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Bethany Community Church or the Schizophrenia Society of Ontario would be appreciated by the family. "She is now absent from the body, present with the Lord"
