Obituary of Peter Biernat

Biernat, Peter- Passed away unexpectedly at the St. Catharines General Hospital-NHS, on Saturday, September 29, 2007, in his 88 year of life. Beloved companion husband of 54 years to Heidi (nee Klemm). Loving dad to Ingo (Marge), Bodo (Leslie), and Peter. Loving grandfather of 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Survived by his dear sister Marchar and many relatives in Germany. Peter will be missed greatly by his niece Trudy (Helmut) Rast and their family, also by many friends in the St. Catharines community. Mr. Biernat is resting at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, at 585 Carlton St. Public visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A celebration of Peter's life will be take place in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, October 3, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow service in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired expressions of sympathy may be made to the War Amps of Canada.
