Silverthorne, Donald- Passed away suddenly in his home on October 14, 2007, in his 70th year. Best friend and husband to Alana (nee McKenna) for 20 years. Loving father of Kenny, Kevin and Tracey and their families. Special step-dad of Chris and Tracey and their families. Loving grandfather of 7. Donald's family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St. on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A celebration of Donald's life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, October 19, 2007, at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
