Obituary of Dale Schmidt

Schmidt, Dale On January 5, 2008 at his home in Edmonton, AB during his 53rd year. Loving son of George and Helen. Will be sadly missed by his brother Darrell and sister Karen (Norman) Kraft. Cherished uncle of Sarah and Bradley. Will be forever remembered by his family members and close friends. Dale worked in Edmonton for the past 30 years in the oilsands industry, enjoyed reading books and was a thoughtful and gentle man. Dale's family invites friends to join them for visitation on Saturday February 9, 2008 starting at 9am in the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St.. A celebration of Dale's life will be held in the George Darte Funeral Chapel at 10am. Following the chapel service an inurnment will be held at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation in Dale's memory.
