Obituary of Frederick Rendall

RENDALL, Frederick "Fred" After 70 years of marriage, Fred passed away peacefully with his wife Olga nearby, on Thursday evening, May 9th, 2013 in Niagara-on-the-Lake at the age of 95. Predeceased by his parents and his sister. Survived by his brother-in-law and friend Steve Soyka, and many nieces and nephews. Fred was a loyal General Motors employee his entire working career, and a member of the Niagara-on-the-Lake Golf Club. He and his beloved wife loved to travel often. Special thanks to the caring doctors and staff of the Niagara-on-the-Lake Hospital. Friends and family will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines, on Thursday, May 16th from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 17th at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
